Booking Questions

If you’ve got your date and venue(s) locked in, complete the form to send us your info. To officially get your date reserved on our calendar, we require an electronically signed contract and a 25% retainer fee. Your balance will be due in full 30 days prior to wedding day.
This is such a non-issue! We have filmed at tons of venues of various types and we are comfortable filming in just about any environment or location. Please reach out if you have specific questions regarding venues or locations. We would be happy to discuss!
Yes! You are welcome to add on at any time, although it is extremely helpful to know what videos we are shooting for ahead of time.
Yes! We travel in all directions around Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to the many Pennsylvania venues we have visited, we have filmed weddings in Ohio, West Virginia, Delaware, and South Carolina - just to name a few. We love to see new places. Travel fees may apply.

We are located in Southwestern Pennsylvania and most commonly film in the Pittsburgh area.
We like to call it “Authentically cinematic”. We focus on documenting what is happening in front of us and capturing the true memories of the day so that you can leave your Legacy for generations to come. Have something special in mind? We would love to help bring your wedding day vision to life!
Yes! During your ceremony or toasts/speeches at your reception, we use wireless audio recorders that are easily concealed in a pocket or on a waistband. These recorders will not interfere with sound equipment from your DJ. Our audio gear records internally and does not transmit anywhere.
This is extremely important to us at Legacy Films Pittsburgh. We take great pride in our redundantly redundant backups. We are constantly upgrading our equipment and processes to better serve our clients. We use multiple cameras so that many angles are covered in the unlikely event of a camera failure. Our newest cameras have dual card slots, so that means that a backup copy is made in real time. As soon as we get home from your event, we copy all of the footage from the day onto our main desktop hard drive. That hard drive backs up to a network drive every night. That network drive duplicates itself onto a backup network drive every night. In addition to those 4+ copies of your footage, we also leave everything on our cards until it is absolutely necessary to clear them off.
Yes! Drone video is heavily dependent upon weather, location, and all FAA restrictions and laws pertaining to unmanned aircraft. Please let us know if you have specific requests and we would be happy to discuss.
You are welcome to choose songs or provide music style guidance. Prior to wedding day, you will receive a link to complete our editing and music form. You are welcome to browse and decide if you’d like to choose individual song titles, make style recommendations or leave it all up to us. All music must be licensed individually to your project.
Your Wedding Video Gallery link will be delivered via email. We strive to deliver video galleries as quickly as we can. Our contracted delivery time is 12 weeks from wedding day. Our editing department is closed on weekends and all major holidays. Check your contract for more details or send a message to check on the progress anytime!
